Canon EOS R100 Pros &Cons
Cons: The Canon EOS R100 does not have an articulated touch screen, limiting its versatility and ease of use. It also lacks environmental sealing, making it less suitable for challenging shooting. The absence of sensor-shift image stabilization and a mechanical shutter further limits its capabilities. Additionally, the small viewfinder with 0.59x magnification may impact the overall shooting experience. Lastly, the narrow AE bracketing range of ±2 EV reduces the flexibility for capturing a wide range of exposures.
Pros: The Canon EOS R100 features a 6.5fps continuous shooting speed and a silent electronic shutter capable of shooting at 1/4000s. The Canon EOS R100 includes a built-in flash with a range of 6 meters at ISO 100. The maximum flash sync speed is 1/250s. It offers various flash modes such as Auto, On, Off, and Red-eye. Additionally, it supports external flash for more advanced lighting options. The camera also features AE bracketing for capturing multiple exposures with different exposure settings, but it does not have WB (white balance) bracketing for capturing multiple white balance settings. Among the Canon EOS R100’s exposure modes are Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, and Manual Exposure. It also provides exposure compensation for adjusting the exposure as needed. Additionally, the EOS R100 provides accurate color reproduction with a custom white balance.
