Build & Design.

Mainly, CNC-milled aluminum chassis is used in the unibody; for that, it is extremely inflexible and sleek. This is portable for a 3 kg lightweight, although its 22 mm thickness makes it slightly hefty. The lid of the laptop is made of metal, which is not very rigorous. The display’s bezels are thin, which makes a comfortable look. On the top center, it included a full HD webcam.

Display.

The Predator Triton 17X was revealed with a gaming-friendly Mini LED display that has only a 17.3-inch screen/display size and a 250Hz refresh rate. This mini LED display shows content with a 2560×1600-pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio that will feast your attention. Keyboard and Touchpad.

While you move your eye slightly down from the display, you can see a keyboard with RGB backlit on per-key. Keys are fitted with good spacing that helps to get a good feel. The precision touchpad, located next to the keyboard, is large and responsive, which supports multi-touch gestures.

On the left side, there are tons of connectivity ports equipped: – a power plug, a LAN port, a Kensington lock slot. A Thunderbolt 4 connector, an Audio jack, and a USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 2) port. Also, the right side holds only 4 ports: an SD card slot, a USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 2) port, and a Thunderbolt 4 connector.

Acer Predator Triton 17x is a high-end gaming laptop because of the advanced 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. The processor is 16-core/24-thread, which has a 3.2 GHz base clock speed and a 5.6 GHz boost clock speed. Additionally, this powerful GPU has a total of 175W graphics power.  

The Acer Predator Triton 17X comes packed with a generous 99.9Wh battery. According to LaptopMedia, this provides a good battery life as a gaming laptop; while users are browsing, the battery lasts for 4 hours and 55 minutes, and while playing back videos, it lasts for 4 hours and 18 minutes. Furthermore, this gaming laptop also provides several storage options for choosing as per user’s needs, like – 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB SSD with 32 GB and 64 GB DDR5 RAM.
